February Staff Spotlight: Fredelyne Lebrun
For this month’s Staff Spotlight blog post, we’re excited to introduce you to Fredelyne Lebrun, our February Employee of the Month and a Primary Therapist at Hidden River.
Let’s get to know Fredelyne Lebrun!
How long have you been with Hidden River?
I have been working at Hidden River for 10 months.
What are three words that describe you?
Three words to describe me are resilient, courageous, and caring.
What’s your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is by Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
What are some things you’re passionate about in your free time?
I love to volunteer when I can at various community centers for children, women, and elderly individuals. I also love to cook and be creative with my dishes. And I love to decorate and learn about interior design!
What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?
I have a degree in Fashion Design and modeled for a short period in my younger teen years.
What is your favorite self-care practice?
I love to do absolutely nothing!
How did you get started in this field?
I always wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to inspire others and make a difference in people’s lives. I started in management as my first career and did not think it was enough to give to the world. Now, I know that there’s no other job for me that could be this rewarding. I take great pride in what I do and will continue to provide great care to others until my last breath.
What do you like most about the work we do at Hidden River?
The mission statement embodies the great care that is being provided daily to the patients and their families.
What is one thing you wish people knew about your job?
No one is exempt from therapy.
What’s the best part about working at Hidden River?
Working with my patients and their families from start to finish and seeing the progress they have made is the most rewarding to me. I love to see a smile on my patients’ faces, even when the work is tough.
What do you think makes our team culture unique?
Working as a team and collaborating well with each department makes it a great culture and easy to navigate.
